Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is a American animal rights activist, author also a model, actor and author. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway '72 are some of her most famous movies. She was drawn to becoming an artist was inspired from her childhood within an New York family of artists. Her first position was an assistant to photographers. She then moved on to modeling and acting. She won an award called the Golden Globe Award in 1990 because she was an aspiring young actor. MacGraw became a household name following the success of her 1970 film Love Story. She was considered for nomination to an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. The film was recognized as the most successful female box-office star of the world after only three releases. At Grauman's Chinese Theater, in 1972, she was able to have her handprints and signature engraved. Additionally, to The Getaway Convoy Players she also starred in the television show The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography, of hers came out. MacGraw got married to three different people.
