Pickler was reunited with her mother in her life by 1995. She took care of Pickler. The situation did not work out the way she had hoped. Pickler was reunited with her grandparents when she turned 12 years old. They helped them through adulthood. Pickler had to be busy with her young children in absence of her parents. Pickler admitted that she no longer had time to study and started learning how to become a housekeeper in her early years.
